Gym Building FAQs
We are building a new home. How does this work with my builder? At FTW, we work with your builder to make sure they understand the sports side of the project. Dimensions, wall construction, concrete sub base...we provide them with all the information they need to make your project work seamlessly.
How soon do you begin after we decide to build a court? On an average year, we are are 6-8 weeks out from the time a decision is made, until the time we begin your project. Our products come from different sources and vendor, all with different lead times...but it is safe to say that 6 weeks is a good estimation for the arrival of your products for a complete gym project.
How much does this cost? I don't have any reference point. Cost is determined by the conditions of your site, acess to the gym, your timing, the size of your court, the surface you choose and the components you add (i.e. hoops, lights, fencing, lines.) When we have an initial conversation and understand some basic variables, we will share a budget range with you.
How long will it take after you start? Every project is a little different, but if there is new construction happening, we stay involved with you and your home or building G.C. to make sure we are ready when our number is called. Generally, we need 2-4 days to complete the installation of your gym floor and components.
